Sturgeon Lake Cree Nation

This project provides traditional healing activities for the whole community, with a special focus on youth. It will seek new ways to create a young generation well prepared for life in both worlds, in the hope of breaking the intergenerational cycle of abuse and suffering initiated by the residential schools by learning healthier ways of relating to each other — in and between families, between peers, and within our community.
